William B. Shetter

In 1977 had a hand in shaping the sport of water skiing when he began one of the first newsstand water ski magazines, Spray. His publication was geared towards both recreational and competitive water skiers and featured beautiful full-color photos of skiers in action as well as lovely bathing suit models and articles on every skiing subject. He was also involved in creating one of the first water ski training centers in the United States and worked towards promoting water skiing as a collegiate sport.
