Morgan has been the most prolific winner of water ski events in the older age divisions, he took time out of his medical practice, first in the Navy and later privately, to hold his own among the best of the seniors and coach his sons, Mike and Zack, in the fine points of competition. Morgan represented the U.S.A. in the first World Veteran Team Competition in 1983 and 1984.
