One-half of the famous U.S.A. "Youth Movement" at the 1963 World Water Ski Championships in Vichy, France. In the same tournament at the age of 16, two years older than her male counterpart, Billy Spencer, Jeannette won the world slalom and overall titles. Her winning ways in the world meet were indicative of Jeannette's brief competitive career.
