One of the most active officials in the history of organized skiing. He was on the AWSA Board for 18 years, serving as president for three terms. He was coach of the U.S.A. Water Ski Teams in 1971, '73, '75 and '77. He was on the AWSEF board of trustees from 1970-1989.
