Awarded in 

A world champion skier from the 60's followed up his professional career with much success in age division competition. White puntuated his career with a world tricks title in 1965. In age division competition, White recorded national victories in slalom, jumping and overall in 1974 and 1981. In 1983 and 1984, he represented the United States as a member of the U.S.A. Elite Team in 1963 and 1965 the U.S.A Veteran Water Ski Team in 1983 and 1984. White coached numerous world water ski champions and has operated ski schools in Florida, Texas and Hawaii. White served a term on the Hall of Fame Selection Committee in the 1980s. White died February 7, 2004.
