Isidro “Bilo” Oliveras started his Waterski career at the age of twelve. Between 1959 and 1975, he took Spanish National titles six times in Tricks and Slalom. His contributions to our sport then moved off the water where he held the titles of Technical Director and Spanish Federation President between 1972 and 1979. Moving on to IWSF Region EAME (Europe Africa Middle East), he joined the Technical Committee from 1975 to 1980 and served as Committee President from 1980 to 1982. From 1977 to 1981, he also served as IWSF Technical Council member and eventually became IWSF President in 1983, holding this post until 1991.
