Jennifer Calleri Schwenk
Honored in
Jennifer Calleri Schwenk began her career on the water as a Show Skier. Merging glamour, skill and clever marketing, she travelled the world with the famous Cypress Gardens Road Show and became a very well known TV personality from her many appearances in Commercials. This experience then gave her a perfect foundation for high level Barefoot performances. For 12 years, between 1984 and 1996, she set an extraordinary 50 pending World Barefoot Records. In fact, almost every time she entered the water, Jennifer set a Personal Best score which very often turned out to be a World Record. In 1988, she was World Barefoot Slalom Champion, in 1990, she was World Barefoot Slalom, Tricks and Overall Champion, in 1992, she was World Barefoot Slalom, Tricks and Overall Champion, in 1993 she was World Games Slalom, Tricks and Overall Champion, in 1994 she was World Barefoot Slalom, Tricks and Overall Champion and in 1996 she did it yet again – World Barefoot Slalom, Tricks and Overall Champion. Apart from her outstanding collection of major international titles, her many IWWF World Records are equally impressive – five World Barefoot Slalom Records and four World Barefoot Tricks Records. Between 1988 and 1996, Jennifer was also seven-times US National Overall Open Women’s Champion, won eight US Open Women National titles, including seven consecutive titles, and served as a member of five US Elite Barefoot Waterski Teams. Her 1992 US Open Women’s Trick Record stood intact for 24 years. Her 1993 US Open Women Slalom Record still remains unbeaten. We welcome Jennifer Calleri Schwenk to our International Hall of Fame.
