Cameron Davis and BG Bickley are the recipients of the 2024 Girls 4 & Boys 4 AWSA National Overall Scholarships. The scholarships are awarded annually at the Goode Water Ski National Championships to the overall winners of each of the Boys and Girls Divisions.
The USA Water Ski & Wake Sports Foundation holds the scholarships in escrow until these young people attend the college or university of their choice.
Cameron Davis of Milford, Virginia, won the 2024 Girls 4 National Overall Points Award and the $2000 Linda Giddens Girls 4 Scholarship.
Cameron won jump and slalom and placed second in tricks to win that title. Cameron also won the Girls 4 Scholarship in 2023, the Girls 3 Scholarship in 2022, and the Girls 1 Scholarship in 2018.
All of these wins are adding up to give Cameron a head start on paying for her education!
BG Bickley of Macon, Georgia, won the 2024 Boys 4 National Overall Points Award and the $2000 Dr. Mike Morgan Boys 4 Scholarship.
BG won tricks, placed third in the jump event, and fifth in slalom to capture the overall title. BG also won the Boys 2 Scholarship in 2020.
BG and Cameron both competed in the U16 age division at the 2024 U.S. Water Ski National Championships at Ski West Village near Bakersfield, California.
