Mary Nelson of Cincinnati, Ohio is the 2024 recipient of the $10,000 Barbara Bolding/Jim Grew Scholarship. Mary is a senior at Miami University majoring in Political Science and plans to become a lawyer.
“This scholarship will help me with my future aspirations of attending Law School and becoming a lawyer. I cannot wait to continue to grow academically as well as improve my water skiing for the rest of my life,” says Mary
The Barbara Bolding/Jim Grew Scholarship was established in 2001 and is given to a qualifying female who attends a four-year accredited college and skis primarily in AWSA, NCWSA or USA-AWSWS tournaments. “I am extremely honored to receive the Barbara Bolding/Jim Grew Scholarship. This scholarship will aid my future career on and off the water. The support from the USA Water Ski & Wake Sports Foundation is amazing, and I am so grateful to be a part of this community," says Mary.
